CHIPPING NORTON HAMPERS

COMMUNITY RELIEF operations began in Chipping Norton in 2020 during the pandemic. Our Life Care team reached out to local schools and community centres to explore the immediate needs. As a result, our team of volunteers are now regularly distributing pantry hampers to around 60 households per month.

Our Chipping Norton crew are also participating in COMMUNITY CONNECT; providing a free lunch on Sundays each fortnight to local families that includes fun kids activities and an opportunity for families and individuals to come together.

We would like to thank our partners for their generous commitment to supporting our community relief operations. Without their support it would not be possible to keep meeting the growing demands.

THE STORY SO FAR

The Peakhurst Life Care Community Relief Centre opened in April 2020 to meet the community’s demands in crisis during COVID lockdown restrictions.

Since then, the centre has become a central hub for the growing needs of the disadvantaged in our local community. It provides over 100 hampers a week to families and individuals doing it tough.

We are grateful for the ongoing support and generosity of our locals donating hamper items as well as Hands and Feet, Foodbank, Oz Harvest, Second Bite and Liverpool Council for their partnership and support.
